We are overjoyed to be leaving the hospital with Samuel as I write this message. He is happily sound asleep in his carseat and has no wires, IVs, tubes or lights attached! And mom and dad get to go home and no longer feel like the hospital version of the movie "The Terminal".
Thank you for all the prayers of support and health for our son and we will keep you updated as he enters the second chapter of his life: There's No Place Like Home.

I have no personal experience with child rearing, but I'm pretty sure that driving a kid around while typing on one's laptop or PDA is not recommended. J/K; I assume shooting photos and blogging took place before hitting the gas pedal. Just thought I'd offer the first (probably not the first, in fact) of much unsolicited parenting advice you can look forward to. ;-)
One might say that blogging in between your wife's contractions might not be the safest thing either. And to be clear, I would not drive until we got all the pics and notes uploaded. Now Christine did write while we were driving - but she was only back-seat driving with Peanut.
